Default Electronic Noise

Just purchased an axial ax10 scorpion.
I love it right out of the box my question is this. It is very noisy (electronic sound) is this normal - when i was fooling around in the cellar my dogs were going nuts upstairs.

Any info appreciated
Thanks

thats funny cause my dog dose the same thing. i think it has to do with the speed control. i sy this cause my dog never did that with my ezrun system i had.i think its the frequency or the hertz coming from the speedo.

Yeah i just heard my friends and it wasn't nearly as loud as mine.
I think its fine its just that it was new and in the house it just sounds loud. I'm wondering if this is a consideration if I upgrade my electronics.

I was also wondering if my battery in combination with esc is a factor.
It doesn't seem to me that battery should matter, voltage is good.

Ive always thought the noise came from the motor, but after really looking for the noise It comes from the ESC, I Don't hear it with brushless setups as much (I hear gear whine instead.
