Default what size motor???

What size motor would give me more wheel speed than my 55T motor? I'm thinking of converting one of my crawlers to more of a hill climber where more speed / wheel speed would be needed. Thanks in advance.

More voltage, like a 3 cell lipo. OR a 35t motor. Or both.

Ok, I was using a 7.4 volt 1000 mAh 2 cell today, tomorrow i will try a 11.1 volt 2200 mAh 3 cell with the same 55t motor. Thanks.

If you want a hill climber, I'd probably go all the way up to a 27t motor, or maybe even a brushless system if you aren't worried about low speed crawling. More voltage is also nearly always a good thing.

I'm running just the stock Axial 55t brushless motor. I'll see how it goes today with the 11.1 volt 2200 mAh 3 cell lipo vs the 7.4 volt 1000 mAh 2 cell I used yesterday. I'm goingto shoot a few little video clips from my digital camera too and show you all what I was doing.
