Good radio for the money. Ergonomics are not as good as a Futaba but for ease of modification they are great. |

I got one for my crawler, bought cheap, was able to mod cheap. Maybe 25 bucks altogether? I love it.

Check out Ebay... Type 'TQ3' into the search and there'll be a lot that come up. If you are a bit patient you can get one for cheap. | |

I love them, I picked up 4 complete with 6 sets of crystals about a month ago. I can't tell you how much I paid because I would be banned from this board. If you want to find them cheap, hang out at your LHS and talk to the T-MAXX guys. They are throughing them away. |

I've been in r/c longer than a lot of people on this board have been alive and I recommend this radio highly. I have used it in many of my ground machine and have never really had any issues with them. If there is any issue it would only be lack of more functions that a computer radio can offer you. Other than that great radio!

mines good for like 20 ft then it gets glitchy... might just be my set up though. I am never really any farther then 5 feet away anyway so I dont worry about it

for the price of what the radio is, it is a decent , cheap radio that will work and get you on the trails/rocks. I have 3 TQ3's sitting here and haven't had a problem with none of them. They are a little more glitchy than an expensive radio would be, but they work good enough.

How about a 3ch tx that's for ppl that drive the other way? I had a T-MAXX and getting into reverse and back to fwd was a pain in the bit-I-sit-with to switch... I have the tx and trigger on the right hand and curl my left around to get to the wheel... I was lookin' at the M8 or M11 because of their side swapability... Just a TAD on the pricey side... There's someone up my way that mod's 4ch 2 sticks into 3ch 4WS rigs but I donno if I want a 2 stick... Suggestions? |

I've used a TQ3 for a couple years. Can't beat 'em for the price....but mine was getting more and more glitchy. Just picked up and modded a MX-3......works really nice! Jay |
