New to the rock world old to the rc world

OK so here it is i have a clod that i just built a new chassis for, how ever i did not see any of this till after i spent a whole day doing it but it turned out well i believe. i have ordered wheel spacers new brackets for for wheel steering and new rear axle so that i can turn again since the clod i have was modded for racing back in the 90's. know that every one has seen my novel i have a six channel radio in it right now i would like to crawl with it. i have twin 13.5 brush less in it right now just for fun i have new pinons and motor adjustment coming also. what else should i do to make it more of a toy crawler not so much a comp crawler and the second part how do i set up this six channel the best. im used to having two channels and racing. can i get some help.
