Default Narrowing 40 Seires Beadlocks Questions

ok I think I understand how to do this well enough, I have a set of proline beadlocks that I wouls like to narrow by 1 inch...my dillemma comes in though as Im not sure of where to take the material out do I do it righ up against the rear bead lock or do I take it from more in the center of the rim? also my next question is I will be running 40 series moabs..will this narrowing still work with these tires or do I need another set? all help appreciated ! thanks!

ok so I take it you take the inch from the middle of the rim not one of the edges perfect I think I got that....now how well do these work with 40 series moabs? is it worth the mod?
