|  Pinion size?
Hey guys Im just getting started in crawling and got a Venom creeper.Im running a Novak Fifty-Five brushed motor.I purchased a 22 tooth pinion and was wondering if it was way too high or not. Suggestions??

I've never run the Venom, so my help will be bit non-specific. What battery are you running? How does the crawler feel like it runs to you? Too slow? Too fast? How hot is the motor after you run it? 22 sounds a bit high to me, but it's going to depend on how you drive your crawler. Pick up a couple other pinions and experiment to see what you like best. |

It depends on what size spur gear and the reduction from tranny and axles. What size did it come with (if any) ? Maybe ask around or do some reading in the creeper threads.
