I highly suggest adding the third hole.

The plate will bend in the area highlighted, in a harsh rollover, whether you have the third hole in the plate or not.

Make one with mounts on both sides... I had a pic but I can't seem to find it. The two I have on my truck for the time being uses 4 screws off the axle to hold it on. and I haven't bent it yet. (and my servo has acted like a bumper a number of times :? )

I haven't had any problems, but I understand what Bender is saying. When I had a two hole version it came loose after one battery pack worth of runtime. Not so with the added hole. |
