Default short runtime hot motor

Ok i have a pti with a lathe 55 turn and gears are a 12 pinion and a 90 spur. My batt is a maxx 3000 and my run times are around 15 mins and the motor gets smoking hot any ideas oh ya tires are 2.2 swamp dawgs thanks denny. pti golitah

Hm... I ran the stock spur/pinion/motor with no problems... maybe some binding somewhere? I'm at a loss as there is hardly anything to these trucks, so there's very little that can go wrong. Especially transmission wise, obviously... Maybe your gear mesh is too tight?

Sounds like gear mess is too tight unless you have a bad 55t. I did receive a bad on at one point.
