Default Bearings

Can anyone tell me if bearings are worth getting for a TLT crawler or any crawler for that matter? Maybe even just for the transmission? Or just the wheels?

I would replace all bushings with ball bearings. It'll prolong the life of all the moving parts in the tranny and axles.

Over time the bushings will wear out, and even wear into the metal shafts, even the plastic bushings. Any mis-alignment in the pinion-ring gear mesh will shorten the life of them.

I was totally blown away at the noticeable difference in speed and smoothness when I replaced the bushings with bearings. Just get one of the 25 pc 5x11 kits you can get on ebay for $10-$15. It's definitely worth it.

On top of that, your run times increase and the motor/ESC will stay alot cooler too.
