it very well could lead to some stalling. the squealing leads me to believe a bearing may be shot as well as being low on grease.

worms are going to be the biggest culprit on that mechanically. the cvd (front axleshaft) cups could probably use a touch of grease as well. other than that, the exposed gears on the transmission would be a place to look if you run in a lot of sandy stuff, pebbles and sand will chew the gears. the reason i mentioned the bearing is because i had one lock up on me, and even with proper amounts of grease in the axles, that thing squealed pretty good. just take your time the first few times tearing down, lay out all parts neatly, and you'll get the hang of it. the grease port mod doesn't hurt to do while you're in there.

pretty much for me, take wheels and tires off, then disconnect the links and shocks from the axles, then servo and servo plate in front. from there i follow the steps i outline on page 11 of my thread. the hole for the grease port mod, i can't remember off the top of my head, but i held it up to a 4-40 bolt and the bit was the same size as the minor diameter of the bolt, then simply thread a cut (roughly 1/8" long, most important is to cut it short enough to not hit the spool inside) bolt in to plug it up. first teardown begins now. i tend to do about 3 hour tear downs when i'm messing around, which equals out to about a week of running for me. i do like doing them though.
