Hey man. Welcome. The first thing you do, is become a member. Get your star! It's a little money, but you get all the knowledge you can handle. That show's your serious about your hobby and your community. I'am a Newbie as well. As for the tire question, tires are measured by the "I.D." inside diameter. Get the I.D. First, then figure out how tall you want your rig to sit. There are differant "O.D." out side diameters, for what ever wheels you are running. Example: 2.2 crawler tires, that's I.D. The O.D. can be 5" tall or 5.5" tall. does that help? hope it does.

I joined back in March. Unfortunately I live in one of the 3 places in the US that u can't get anything but dial up so I have to use my phone! That helped a lot on the tires but when I get into 30 & 40 series I start getting confused again!
