| Exo Cage?
Can you build a exo cage around a lexan body and have it stay on and not have to tie it into a frame or do you have to tie it into a frame? i have a body i would like to have a exo on it if it will work without tieing it into a frame?

you could build an exo and only attach it to the body but if you put pressure on the exo it could break the mounts. It all depends how well you mount it and how hardcore you are gonna drive it.

A cage that isn't tied into the frame won't help a great deal. If you affix it to the body in various points, it may help the body keep it's shape - but in a roll it will still place all the stress where the body mounts are. Why don't you want to tie it into the frame? You could mount it using brackets so it would be easily removable.
