| charging time from factory charger?
Just got my new redcat in today and am wondering what kind of charge time do i expect from the factory charger? It has no indicator light or anything so there isnt much to go by except guessing when its been long enough. General idea, how long do i wait? 20 min? 45 min? 1 hour!? |

Doesnt matter anymore. Ive already broken the front steering servo. WTF? I even set all the steering radius crap on the transmitter to 90% thinking i was taking it easy. I havent even taken this thing outside yet! Luckily ZNO is shipping me another servo. I should cancel that and just get two worth a damn... |

yeah the majority of them you'll find a 5 hour charge; that's what my two chargers are this is for a standard 7.2v Ni-Cd stick pack; not sure if it would be any different if you're talking about Li-Po as I haven't gotten into messing with them myself |

Most factory chargers are meant to be 'idiot' proof. And charge on the order of .25amp. Basically expect to charge for 6hrs or so. An aftermarket charger will allow you to charge at a higher rate |

^ that's true as well. mine are "basic" chargers; nothing crazy, just an LED indicator that turns off after 5 hours :P |

| I wouldn't put another stock servo on there. Take this as a reason to upgrade. There are plenty of higher torque servos for cheap that will do much better than a stock one.
