Default replacing stock txt motor... lathe?

what is a lathe motor, whats the differenct between them and the stock txt motor i have rght now, and should i get a 35T, 45T, 55T or 65T inetgy lathe motor?

THe difference is that they have more torque than the stock can.The most common turn is the 55t.Mix of a little wheelspeed,and LOTS of torque.But,Ive seen your thread,and saw that you have a GD-600 in it.You should be fine with the stock can,gd-600,and the correct gearing--------

yeah ive got a gd600 with 2.5:1 gearing.... finally counted the teeth. ok then ill leave it alone for now.

i would buy a lathe. ud get longer run times and more torque. if u want more wheel speed then u have go with the 35 turn. the 65 turn is not what i would use with a gd600. l
