i bought a 1:18 nylint crawler at wally world LOL and m going to my it a scale crawler do you think it will work ill post pics at a later time

it wont be real scale, like a TLT or def not even dreaming to be like a bruiser scalism. I would do a full body/ford truck body, so you dont see the ugly stuff. Run the nylint tires tho, unless you run geos!

With enough time a knowhow you can make anything a scale crawler. Check out the nylint forums there is great info there. If you want to go realistic I'd go with a custom frame for the axles, It could be made for a cheap price if you have the ability to work with the material.

I didn't do anything except extend the wheelbase to 10", inboard the shocks and paint, cut the body and tires. I only have about $2.00 in the stuff needed to extend it. |
