| Needing pic's of Stealth w/Motor
Alright I'm needing pictures of how poeple mounted the Lathe motors to a Stealth Tranny. I guess I ordered the wrong Stealth case. I ended up with the Gen1 case. I'm sending it back for a RC10B4 case. I also have a RC10T3 motor mount. I guessing I can't use the RC10T3 Motor mount. Here are the pic's of what I will have. I also have these 1. Associated Stealth Motor Plate Spacers #LX2863 2. Associated Stealth Complete Screw Kit #LX2861 3. Associated Stealth Tranny Case #ASCC9574 4. Robinson Racing Pinion Gear 48P 18T #LXEX16 5. Associated Gear Dust Cover #LX2791 6. Associated Stealth Spur Gear 48P 81T #LX3103 Here is the motor mount and the new Case. |

Mounting the motor is no mystery - just bolt it to the mounting plate. It sounds like your problem is a mixed collection of Stealth parts from different models/generations. Here is a link to the parts listing for a complete Stealth tranny (not sure which generation) that includes many of the parts you have... http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...5p?&I=ASCC4660 The Tower site is good for figuring out which parts interchange with others because they have a "Parts Usage" link on the part page which you can then use to look up the rest of the parts that go with a particular model. For example, if you have a tranny from a Stealth GT that you want to convert to electric, you can look up all the tranny parts for the GT and click on the "Parts Usage" link and find which ones are common to the RC10T3. Then look up the part list for the RC10T3 figure out which ones you are missing. |
