| Tlt-1 Electronic Help!
hey everyone i got a few questions im gonna be getting a tlt-1 and i just want to know what electronics i should get. I know i need a 55 t lath motor but not shure what motor, esc, reciver, or batteries i should get that will fit in it any help would be greatly appricieated honestly. I probably would know what to get but i dont know much about electronics right now and im having a hard time finding good information

A 55t motor will work fine. Just about any ESC can power a lathe motor and single 1/10th scale servo set-up. It's best to find an ESC that has as high a BEC rating as you can find. The BEC is what powers your servos, the higher the amps the better. Tekin's Rebel 2 is the most readily available. It has a BEC rating of 5A, (5 amps). Another thing to watch out for is "double pump" reverse. ESC's with double pump reverse are useless for crawling, makes it hard to back out of a rollover.

k thanks for the info i got another question now could i use a reciver wiht an esc already built in or is it better to get it seperatly?

Better to go seperate ESC and reciever. The Moped is another choice for an esc, look in the esc thread stickied in the electronics forum.

Go to ebay and get a reciever with remote for $10 search up the tq3

Also make sure your receiver and radio are 2 channel, or if you are running independent rear steer 3 channel.
