Default 2 55t vs. 1 65t lathe motors

maybe a newb question but I am building a project and have the option of running a dual motor setup clod style, or a single motor shafty with the motor on the front axle. Going to run 2.2 tires or maybe stock height max mashers at the largest. Gear ratio will be the same on both trucks, about 25:1 I think. WHat would you run dual 55t's or single 65t. Will the 65t have enough tourque with that ratio?
Thanks

25:1 is very quick for a crawler, especially maxx tire'd ones. Shoot for 50:1 or more. The 65 turn motor wont want to grunt a crawler well until you give it voltage above 7.2.

I would run dual 55t motors if I had the choice.

ya just double checked it's 26:1
Not to much choice as I am running all leftover radioshack parts and it already hasan 8 tooth pinion on the motor. Other option is I have a stealth tranny kick'n around I could use.
