I would think a bogger would clean out better but it could also make four deep holes if you just pin the throttle.

For snow you can't beat the HPI Rock Grabbers IMO...

I think these work the best in snow
(they are on Swampers)

Nope. These are about best.

Imex puller dawgs. Enough lug like a paddle and wide enough to float on top. Trust me these things will even eat over water with enough rpms. My go to snow and mud tire. Not much of a scaler tire though unless your going tractor or monster truck. Then they are perfect.

In all seriousness, "in snow" is not specific, and what type of gearing and wheel speed you have also has a great effect on how well they work.

So to the original OP, please post your setup ie gearing, battery, motor, etc.. Then please explain what type of snow you are talking about.

I have used the swampers, boggers, clod style, and paddles also, all work well in the correct conditions depending on a lot of factors.

I will help you out and back it up with pics.

The boggers are not the best in snow, but they look killer, and like the real thing people will always buy them just because they look so cool...

however with momentum any tire works good...

but like someone said above they will dig once you get slowed down...

they look killer tho...

but for all around use and most conditions the HPI rock grabbers have a similar pattern, and work awesome...

for snow crawling, those IMEX pullers will work great, you will need to get a large contact patch, wider is better, just go for floatation....

I use a set of proline clod tires on custom wheels that work awesome...

They look Knarly on my Wraith too...

The HPI Rock Grabbers work good too even when crawling...

I don't drive in powder unless its an inch or two deep... As for ice and/or crusty snow that can mostly be driven on top of, the Boggers are phenominal and the tsl-sx flat out sucks.

Id guess that anything that sucks in the rocks is probably a good option for snow. Mainly cause of the larger voids in the tread pattern.

I would go with the TSLs over the Boggers.

but what about the people that are running 1.9's. Interco IROK work great but they are too tall for one of my honchos and the flat irons are just crap in the snow but fits the truck with little rubbing. Any subjection on a better tire for it?

I really liked the stock WK tires in snow. The Imex Pullers work really well in snow too.

I have stock wk tires with every other lug removed. They look like pullers now. Work great in snow. But 4 paddles awesome in snow lol.
