You can go either full comp or scale rig, with TLT axles. They are the most popular platform right now. Your best bet is too read around the TLT/Small Scale forum and figure out which way you'd like to go. Have you seen this? FAQ: TLT-1 to TLT-Crawler ***NEWBIES READ!!!*** |

Go with the TLT, it'll be alot more capable then the Nylint.

If you compare the TLT to a Nylint, you'll buy the TLT.

| Tlt Or Nylint
I agree that you would be better off just getting a TLT. I started off with the 1/6 Nylint and I ended up buying two more just to keep the first one going. Tlt's are the way to go, you can lock the diff and the axles and extend the wheelbase to around 11"-12" and it will out-perform a Nylint bigtime. just my $.02
