Default RC4wd wheels on SCX10

I've been looking for the thread that shows what to do to get the rc4wd stamped steel beadlocks to fit on SCX10s, but can't find it. Can anyone please post the link up for me?

Remove the hex's and mount them up. They are a pin drive. Make sure you dont loose the pins when you take the wheel off.

You could also buy the hexs that go with those wheels. I got a set cause I didn't want to glue the stockers up.

They honestly look like they mount the same way as the stock wheels, but I thought you had to file the edges down maybe?

Are those the 1.55s?
No you don't need to file anything. The edges are smooth

1.9 shows this in both 5 and 6 lug:

Sorry I had the old style pin mount, with the hex mount they should mount up like any other hex rim, you might need to pick up thicker hexes depending on how deep the cut it.

How much weight should I add to them?

Also kinda pissed I ordered these, THEN found out about the new X2-SS compound IROKS. Oh well, I don't think its available for the 1.55's anyway.

Hey wait, I have a set of the 1.5's on my scx10 and i didnt file anything or do anything.

They mounted right on like they were stock rims, no issues. They also look great with some IROK's
