Default MyTXT Can't steer

I'm getting very frustrated with my TxT and its my very first RC. It doesn't have enough strength to turn. Right now I have a Rebel 2 ESC and a HiTEC 645MG Servo. Am I missing something here

A stronger servo might be needed or even rear steer should be installed. Is it set for crawling or what. Give us specs so we can help man.

A better servo saver will help as well as thinner profile rims and tyres. I have narrowed proline velocities with Moab xls and team associated servo savers. This combo works really well.

According to Tower, that radio has "steering rate adjustment" which may or may not be like end-point adjustment. My 645 seemed weak on my 2.2 and it turned out that my EPAs were screwed up, so maybe the steering rate on your radio has something to do with it?

Most of us here use a TQ3 Radio and Revicver. Traxxas makes that. They are cheap on e-bay and are a 3 channel radio. You can use rear steer with that and the radio is nice for what it is.

You may want to also run a reciever pack for the servo. Just get yourself a "servo Y" and disconnect the red wire from the Y's positive plug that goes into the reciever. Plug the reciever pack into one side, the servo into the other and the other side into the reciever and you're done. If you get the stuff it'll be MUCH easier to understand.

Sorry, it sounded like I was implying that your radio was toast. What I was trying to say is you should mess with the steering rate adjustment and see if that helps. Supposedly, it's the knob on the rear of the controller. Or near the rear of the controller or something like that...
