Hey guys, I'm a newbie to RC crawling, and I've had this AX10 for two years. I've run it a lot, just not real rock crawling (don't have enough rocks). I'm running a Novak High Torque motor, an Axial AX-2 ESC, and a Venom 3300 mAh NiMh pack. I have 2.2 Axial Rock Lizards on bead-lock rims. I'm planning on getting a 1992 Jeep Cherokee body, painting it up like a police car, getting a Traxxas Police Light Bar, and a HobbyPartz LED Kit. I'll be posting pictures in a little bit. My camera needs to be charged.

If you want to make it more scale friendly and realistic then pick up one of these: Axial SCX10 Frame Set All of your axles and trans, etc will transfer right over. It will be much easier and look better with the Cherokee body. You may hve to do some adjustments with the axle links and what not, but it is a simple swap all together. Maybe some smaller 1.9 wheels and tires would be nice too. The Cherokee has very small wheel wells making it hard to fit large tires without the tires rubbing. Good luck which ever way you go. |
