Default scx 10 steering knuckle & 2.2 tires?

hey guys if you have a scx10 and running 2.2 tires have you upgraded to alum knuckles i just put on my 2.2's and the knuckle broke after 5 min.thanks for and feedback

Pretty much everybody upgrades to aluminum. It's a lot stronger and looks good too. Go with aluminum, you won't have to replace it unless it's a really hard hit or it wears out witch probably won't happen.

you wont regret upgrading to the aluminum well worth the $$$$, the plastic bends and breaks to easy especially pusing those 2.2's around.

thanks guys are the ax10 steering knuckles the same as the scx10 it looks like it

Yup scx and ax are the same parts. Go alloy and don't look back.

Yup... The Knuckels are a good aluminum upgrade.

Don't forget about the c-hubs. Might as well upgrade those as well.

Exactly! And it's not just a 2.2 upgrade. I started breaking them on my SCX with 1.9's. Run the plastic until something breaks, and then replace everything.

People actually do that?

I'll admit I had major carnage on a rig in the snow a couple days ago so I swapped my aluminum high steer onto another (stock) axle but 2 minutes into the next run I was back in to replace the c hubs with the alloy hubs I hadn't gotten around to putting on yet.
