Default where to find axles cheap

hey guys i have a tlt which is currently gettig some love and i started workign on a custom chassis just because i wanted to.. in any event i'm stuck on axles. i woudl like to run tlt axles just because i know they're good and i also like the way they look. However i cannot really locate any just axles aside from the tlt kit, or for a reasonable price. how much should i look to be spending on some axles, where should i look for them (tried e-bay with limited sucess) or what other axles might i look for?
anyways here's a picture of my tlt . basically stock. hpi 1/10th scale rims and tires and the links have been extended primarily with t-max links

Am I missing something? If you have a TLT, wouldn't those be TLT axles between your tires? Or are you talking driveshafts maybe?

First you might want to make your first one a bit more of a crawler.
If not, the tlt kits are pretty much the cheapest place to get axles.

Already built axles with bearings go for more than a whole kit does most of the time.

I agree, best bet is to buy new. Spending the cash on a kit is worth every penny, just for the fact that you know your getting all new stuff and it ain't wore out crap or fixen to break. TLT kits are dirt cheap anyway, why fool with all the searching to save $5. Just pony up and get new, plus save all the time and agravation in waiting. Plus you'll get alot of extra hardware and stuff you can use or modify to use in your build.
