Default Newbie needs answers about purchasing electronics, and stuff.

After I deceide on a truck to recreate, what other pieces (specific brand names) do I need. I know the components required ie ESC< motor, servo and such I am just unsure of motor turns, pinion sizes, servo ratings, esc types and capabilities. Tires, rims, info about weighing the tires down with BB's. Batteries number of cells, size of mAh and placment!!!! I have a JR XS synthesized radio would that work for rock crawling? What about going four wheel steering what type of radio do you use for that? As you can tell any info is welcomed, any links or magazine articles would be great as well.
Thanx

ESC- 6-7 cells is good 6-10 is better if you like more wheel speed and a BEC with 3 amps is good for most 4ws non digital servos or one good digital

Servo- start with something like a Hitec 645mg 133oz at 6v for a tlt or go up to something like a JR 9000t 330oz at 6v digital for a super or comp tlt

Motor- Integy matrix lathe motor 55t is common or,

Holmes Hobbies brushless Revolver/mamba (or quark) ESC/motor combo

Batt's- 6 cell stick pack 1500mah-4200mah or you can have Cheapbatterypacks.com make you a good 2/3A pack up to 2300mah i think

Wheels- On a tlt i like Rpm, super strong hexes and look pretty, on a super Proline makes some good beadlocks

Tires- 2.2 and super Moabs are a safe bet, on my 2.2 i run moabs and masher2k's

Weight- Place most of the weight up front like on a SW2 the pack sits ontop the steering servos, tire weights i run 6oz in each front tire none in the rear, but it trial and error.

Radio- the Xs3i i'm guessing? It will work for rear steer if you mix 3ch with steering but i dont beleive you can set it up with indy rear steer.

Hope that answers most of your questions
