Default Newbie Scale G project

Hi Guys,

have been lurking this site for a while and find it great. Now after many years i was caught by the RC bug again. At home I have a Kyosho Optima and en Kyosho Rowdy Baja 2wd buggy from waaaaaay back. Also I found a very cool 2 door soft top Mercedes G. It is a Spanish modell made by a company called Rico.
This G measurres 19 in length, 8 in width and has a wheelbase of 12 inches. Guess it is a 1/10th scale??
Want to use the body and want to turn it into a a nice trail rig/ mild crawler.
Have no means of doing my own chassis.
Would like to hear some suggestions.
Thanks and keep up all the incredible work.
Mike

That is just about perfect for a 1/10 scale project. Check out the BB-51 chassis or the K2-3S chassis in the vendors section. Just thought of another; Diaz Designs and peej410 also makes custom frames.
