Are you talking about a Y splitter?
Thats actually what I'm using on my rig, but the only down side is you have to reverse one of the servos, so the arm is on the top instead of the buttom.. it's hard to see but yeah... I'm new at this RC thing, so there might be another way of doing it, I just don't know.. And this was the cheap way, the other way I was considering buying another reciever/controler but I didn't really wanna spend the money for a 3+ channel.

Some companies make a reversing Y harness so one servo is opposite the other.

I've been looking at doing something like this. except with a switch to engage a fail safe to keep the rear centered. still only uses a 2 channel radio, but have a little switch on the body somewhere that engages 4WS....

ok heres my question if you have your front servo on the drivers side, and the rear servo on the passenger side. do you still need a reversing Y harness?

Yup, no matter what way you have it, you still need the reverser.. The only way to get around the reverser is to do what I did, and mount the turn link above the servo.. I'm gonna buy myself a reverser harness cause i hate having the link above the servo, seems like its gonna break or something.

You should remove the rear servo alltogether and get used to driving it locked out. You won't be able to use it at comps, and if the rear moves you will be disqualified.

I agree. Save money and remove or don't buy the servos, and if its clod based - don't stop at locking the diff - fill the whole rear axle with epoxy, silly putty, or hot glue. You'll have FULL TIME FRONT DIG....then you can Ebay the can motor for the rear and get yourself a Titan 550 - it's got more power because it is obviously bigger than a 540 stock clod motor. But-this might not work for a tlt axle.....I'd suggest removing the belt from the stock tranny and replace it with a Peatie tranny, if you've ever owned a TMAXX, you should have an extra. Replace the belt with a GD9000, run Revo turnbuckles, and a 3 cell pack - as long as you hard wired your transmitter - you won't need to steer

if they can just alter the three wires coming out of the servo then why can't you do it your self? If you already have a Y harness couldn't you just reverse the positive and negative and get the same effect?

This will work perfect. It also has trim adjustment. I have the same one on all 3 of my rigs!
