| HPI Crawler?
i have a HPI nitro mt. Do you think it would hold up if i converted it to a maxx style crawler with locked out indy suspension. i could run a pede tranny to the solidified axles. Would it rund stock size max wheels?

Search Nitro, then let us know what you think? Anything can be made into a crawler.

im working on a nitro RS4 3 axled trail truck. (narrowed HPI MT, same diffs, knuckles, etc) mine are still indi but have been modded to droop a good inch compaired to the original 1/4" under the diff. they have the strangth, they have the aftermarket diff parts, and they are really easy to moddify. |

I would think the side gears in the diffs would really dislike Maxx sized tires. If you're going to go this route, and I don't discourge originality, use a tall 2.2, something a bit narrower than most Maxx tires. Your gears and steering components will last alot longer and function better. I'd go with CVD's too, the stock dogbones are pretty lame. If you shave the lower arms and the C-hubs down a bit you can get alot more travel and droop out of the stock components which will give you more clearance if you're going to make a solid axle out of them.

well the diff gears are metal and there built to handle nitro. the cups might give but All -t 's arn't much smaller than stock sized max wheels so i might give it a shot and get back to everyone. Would a pede tranny be aight to push maxx sized tires. I m gonna try any wayz but how many think it will EXPLODE!
