| Why narrow wheels and tires?
I can't figure out why one would want to narrow the wheels and tires on an RC crawler? ican understand if you are competing, but why for the average Joe Schmoe? dIMa |

The point of nawrrowing a tire is to make the contact patch smaller thus making the wieght of the vechile more concentraded on the smalled contact patch thus making more traction.

sometimes you gotta narrow the wheel for clearance on the suspension links. No steering = no fun...

Narrowing also brings the sidewall lugs into play.
