Default Losing night crawler wheels won't turn

To start off the wheels do turn fine when powered up and running, but when the truck is not powered, if I grab a wheel and try to turn it they do not move. Usually on a non crawler truck the wheel on the opposite side will turn in the other direction. Is this normal for a crawler? Or losi specific. Or is something bound up in there?

Worm drive axles will only turn when spun from the pinion....that's the beauty of worm gears.

Your next stop should be the losi comp/nightcrawler section to start learning how to maintain those pesky worm drive axles......

Not only do the worm drives prevent "accidental movement", but there's also the lack of a differential that prevents the opposite wheel from turning.

Crawlers typically don't use differentials.
