Default set up my clod snow basher

I would like to make my clod crawler into more of a basher for the winter.I have 45t motors,8 tooth pinion,duel airtronics 94359,tq3 , TRII and a 6 cell 3600 mah battery.Short of going brushless What are your Ideas on how to make this thing go faster? thanks for any help

If it is going to be just a snow basher for the winter, put the stock 13 tooth pinions back in. If that isn't enough speed you can try a 6 or 8 cell pack (just have to watch the total rig weight). The lathes really come alive at higher voltages.

What tires are you running? If you are running clod tires or bigger then try the stock 13 tooth pinions as suggested or some 11 tooth pinions if you need more torque.

Definately run at least 8 cells and you'll really see those lathe motors come to life.
