Default chassis question

thinking of making a crawler out of one of my clods. tryin to do it on the cheap and not to sure how to make that chassis. not looking to make a comp crawler or super scale crawler. i was thinking of just using a length oc aluminum c channel. any pros and cons to this set up? whats another cheap route to making a capable cralwer for not alot of dough?

Regarding the aluminum C that you are planning to use - The Pimp Cane, which is a clod Torsion Chassis, works very well because of the aluminum that Syco133 uses to build them. It isn't your local hardware store variety of aluminum. He special orders it.

The Pimp Cane is a very easy, very versitile chassis. I have links in my siginature for my torsion builds and I have to say that I love them. Look up the Pimp Cane in the vendor section. It takes all of about 10 mins to build and I get about 60* to 70* articulation. Good luck!!!!
