So ive been waiting for the G6 to be back in stock at Tower but I cant anymore .. The JK kit is now 279.00 and you get another like 20-30 bucks off with coupon. So im ordering that and the Castle MMP ... will run a cheapo bushed motor for now then upgrade to a nice Brushless later ...

Few questions ...

What cheap motor to get ? Axial 27 or 20 Turn ?

WHat additional stuff should I get for build ? like shock oil or green slime ?

Diff .. Grease ?

anything ?

Cheap motor, Axial 27t, or Integy 35t lathe

Additional, Associated green slime , marine grease, good quality hex drivers 1.5, 2.0, 2.5mm are the most common on the Scx10 platform.
You will also need a ESC, and a tx\rx for extreme budget, duratrax lipo tazer, has a crwler mode and can handle 2s lipos. I also like Tactic transmitters(tx) and receivers(Rx)
Oh yeah servo, I like hitec 5646 servos myself.
