| motor question.
hello i'm looking for motor for tlt.(i will do conversion..) i don't want just for crawling. i want some speed...(like rally) but some crawling... how about this http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXLXT7&P=ML or recommand some motors ps. where can i get the sw2 chassis? not sure bout the motor(im a newbie) but u can get the SW2 at the crawlerstore.com

there good motors and will give you speed for sure but if you try any mild crawling chances are you will bind up the motor. something like this may be a better choice http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXLYV2&P=7 or even the 45t the sw2 is sold by bender a vendor on this site. |

I have that C027 in my Tamiya TA05 touring car so I know it's a good motor for stock racing but as a crawler, I would say no. RPM's too high. I put a P2k2 Pro motor in my TLT and it was too strong for the truck. Wasn't as fast as I thought it should be but better than the silver can.
