Default Need advice on a motor and tires

OK, my wife has claimed ownership of my Honcho. So, I got a Vaterra Ascender RTR. The honcho has the stock 27T with Pitbull RBs. The K5 has the stock swampers and stock 35T. I'm wanting to upgrade the motor and tires. I need some advice on which motor has the torque and wheelspeed to pull 15+ lbs on a trailer and which tires to go with to keep up with the RBs?

I was thinking of going with one of these motors and tires. If you have any suggestions not listed please feel free to share.

HH Torque Master Pro 27T vs HH Torque Master Pro 35T
Can the HH TMP 27T handle 3S? I heard I needed a 35T for 3S but wanted to double check.

TSL Super Swamper XL vs Interco IROK vs PB Growlers vs Baja Claw TTC
I live in south central FL and my terrain is comprised of fallen slash pines, coral rock and lots of sand. The RBs tackle everything and I need something that can do the same.

With low gearing you won't have a problem with 27 or 35t on 3s. 15/87 would be a good start.

The Ascender is running 14/86 so which of the two motors would be the best bet for towing?

I would use the 35t to reduce the amp needs a bit. You won't need the wheelspeed of a 27t when towing.

Any ideas for tires that have comparable performance to the rock beasts?

Hit up crawler innovations, they are who I rely on for tire and foam setups.
