| How to Maintain after snow or rain run
After I take a truck through snow or water, is there anything I should do to maintain it. Any simple sprays or lubes to prevent rust and maintain longevity> Thanks

Hit your metal parts with WD-40 before and after and it will help them from rusting. If your electronics aren't waterproof you should look into putting them in a balloon or some other enclosure so you don't ruin them. If you have an air compressor or even a shop vac with a blower, blow as much water/snow off as you can to prevent it from sitting and corroding things. If you are in water, it will get to your bearings and axles, those would require opening them up occasionally to check for rusting. |
