Default Anyone tried these China d/k44 knock offs??

Im looking to scale out my Rubi a little more. Came across these on FleaBay, I was wondering if any of you guys ahs tried these?
Claim to be all Aluminum. They look pretty "scale" in the pictures...but I'd like to find someone who's had their hands on a set.

Thanks Crank
I saw that when I searched - but it appears no one has gotten a set in their hands.
I think im gonna bite the bullet and try them - I've wasted 200 bucks on worse things!

I plan to do this Trimble. Along with lots of pics - I plan to show the install of them as well... As long as they show fit for the build

Do they include 4 link and shock mounts? Looks like they are better suited for a leaf spring setup.

Well, I was just moved here to the "newbie" section....I plan to make these work for my SCX10 Rubi - hence the reason I started the thread there - Sooo....Not sure whats that's about.

I have ordered the RC4WD D44 link brackets for the front and rear. I hope to make these work somehow - plan to have pictures of all of this guys...Hopefully soon!

Probably moved here since your first post was asking if anyone had experience with those axles...... so more of a question then a build thread.

When you begin your build, just start a new thread in that section.

Cheers,
Wade

It appears the rear should be no issue at all with the RC4WD brackets (that is, if the brackets line up). The front may be a little different story....time will tell!

Nearly a month later! They are here!!!
First and foremost. I'm very pleased with the quality and detail. They feel nice and stout.
The "kit" is complete as well including the axles, pins, hex heads or a cool set of METAL rotor/hex heads. It also includes the drag link.

I'm gonna try and make a video here in a few days and post it. I'm already ordering 2 more sets from the guy

Look forward to it, in the meantime how does the steering throw and gears look?

I have to figure out his to upload the video

I will say I'm very impressed with these thus far. The steering throw seems comparable to the SCX10 front axle.
I took the diff covers off and inspected the gears - they look quality. I also added to lube while I was in there.
Some advise - you will need the K44 brackets to mount these to the SCX10 chassis. I ordered the D44 brackets and they won't work

Bringing this back up to the top!
Life has been crazy with the death of a loved one, work, then to top it off I had to get my appendix removed in a emergency surgery a week ago... SO! I have had some time to mess with these axles and install them.
A few things guys.
Im running these on an Axial SCX10 JK chassis. LUCKELY I bought the JK kit and had some extra parts to get to make these works.
I had to 4 link the front to make it work (2 extra links were included in the JK kit anyway) no big deal.
I had to clearance the front pumpkin area to get the nut on the lower control arm/shock mounts.
The shocks front and rear will need to be spaced - which the axles are shipped with spacers, nuts, bolt, whatnot.
The rear axle is nearly a direct bolt in.
YOU WILL NEED THE RC4WD K44 QXLE BRACKETS IF YOUR RUNNING COILOVERS (non leaf spring)
DO NO ORDER THE D44 BRACKETS (they don't work )
I have yet to completely run these. As of right now shes a roller and hope to have it going in a week or so.

Let me know what you guys think!
