| i have a pede w/ the 5800 and it screams down the trails. is this too much power for a scale crawler? what if i gear it crazy? i plan on tlt axles and locked pede trans. i really dont feel like buying another esc. so if i could use what i got and switch them out when i want to trade trucks would be nice but if i cant. would the xl-1 work for a 45t or is that too fast? is there a decent esc for a reasonable price commonly used? thanks for the newb help. ive been lurking in the scale section but brushless never seem to come up. |

| use the XL-1 you have. The 5800 is way to fast for a crawler, unless you use a gear reduction, but i don't how to put one on a pede tranny. the xl-1 will power the 45 turn no problem. |
