| traxxas oba help
im needing help on how to mount the speakers from the traxxas with oba. i have everything except the actual mounts for the speakers. i plan on running it in my wroncho with a k5 blazer body. any help would be greatly apperciated |

your best bet would to be to buy a smaller battery and put it on the battery tray with the Battery.. you could also ziptie it to the frame rails

I thought the sound of the speakers are louder up against the lexan body?

If thats the case why not get some clear sheet lexan and mount it to the speakers then you can mount the speakers anywhere?

Was also thinking about making or finding some sort of plastic tub and just mount it on rear frame rails.

I've done an axial OBA conversion, and you will pretty much HAVE to have ur speakers up against the body to have it resonate correctly. I payed $10 for a good sized roll of double sided tape that holds up to 20lbs! And this stuff can be purchased either at a local hobby shop or ACE/Fields!! It's been holding up on my wraith great!!
