I'm looking at a tf2 with a spektrum receiver. It needs a radio that can bind to it. What radios will work? I want to control the 2 speed trans, and possibly a winch so I believe I will need a 4 channel radio. Any suggestions on the best, cheapest radio would be much appreciated. |

If the car has Spektrum receiver, you need Spektrum radio. 4 channel Spektrum is not going to be cheap so your best option is the hacked FlySky radio and their $15 RX. You can always sell the Spektrum receiver that you are not going to use.

What model Spektrum receiver will guide which radio you can choose. Spektrum has changed their technology over the years so some receivers only work with certain radios. If it is an old receiver like the SR300, none of the new radios will work with it. The cheapest of the Spektrum 4 channel radios is the DX4C which can be had for about $100. The hacked Flysky GT3C is another good option like Drabina said. |
