Default Locking diffs

I was wondering if i should lock the diffs on my 2.2 crawler or leave then open or just lock one. I am going to be using it for about half rock crawling and about half trail driving in mud and around some trails. I am thinking about only locking the rear diff. I know that there are some disadvantages to locking them so thats why im wondering. Thanks for any help.

On TLT diffs you can put one spider gear in between the other two for a locker. It holds good and you can unlock/lock it for different driving conditions., but you do have to take the axles apart.

I have heard that the spider gear breaks over time. Is this true and if it is how long does it last? What i have so far is locking the tranny for sure. Does locking the diffs make turning that much more bad? That's the thing that i'm most worried about.

I have decided to lock all the diffs and tranny. I know that on real trucks it makes it a little bit wider turn so thats why i was wondering. Thanks for all the help.

Sure it makes it turn wider, but for how small they are it isn't that noticeable. You will like the locked diffs so all tires are pulling for max traction, whether it be rocks, mud, snow or trails.
