| help with low budget
ok i was wondering if i buy a tlt and a custom chassis and electronics etc etc could i use the stock gears because im not going to be doing anything to extrme probably climbing a brick or so but if i do something bit more hard core then i will change it so my question is can i use the stock gears and motors for a little mess about truck? and yes ive tried searching but when you put in tlt you get every tlt in the tlt bit!

you can do whatever makes you happy my suggestion: get the TLT kit... save the money on the custom chassis and put it into a pede or r2 trans.. then modify the stock tlt plates and extend the wheelbase. btw: the tlt kit does not come with motor. |

The reason no one uses the stock centre transimission is because it is belt-driven and tends to slip under rock crawling loads, not because of the gearing. Good luck with your search. |

yer i know about the transmission i was thinking about the diffs or is that a completely stupid newb question?

They don't make different gear ratios for tlt axles...................yet
