Default axle recommendations

Im building a power wagon for one of my buddys right now and he is dead set on using his emaxx tranny with wild maxx motors with the full 14.4 volts, this will be mainly a trail/mud truck with some rocks. I was wondering if the tlt axles had an ice cubes chance in hell with that much power or would it be better to go with txt axles? If they are even an option on a scaler, i dont know their width, any suggestions?

I've never run a TLT but I'd say they'd snap. Allot of it thought would depend on how heavy it'll be dressed out.

I'd guess,if it was gonna be under 5-6 pounds the TLT axles might survive.

If you wanna get rough with it,get you some Twin/Mad Force axles and you won't have to worry

Easily done. You'll then have a set of Dynatrac Pro Rock 60's under your Jeep To go that narrow, you will have to search around for the right length dog bone. I'm using 2 factory shortside axles in my Twin Force 2.2 build. It's a comp build, not scale,so I want as much width as the class will allow. I'll measure and see tommorrow, but I think right now my axles are 11" hex to hex. For a 2.2 class crawler,IMHO,thats about perfect. For a scale build,it might be a bit wide.

Heres my 2.2 Twin Force build if you want to look at it.
