Default Tire foam

I almost feel dumb for asking this. I thought I did all my research but something just doesn't look right. 12.75 pound scx10 with TTC Baja claws on axial 1.9's. I ordered 4.75 comp cuts, firm outer rears and medium outer fronts. It's SO much foam in these tires. Also, what's the best way to vent the tires?

Best way to vent tires is to punch two or more holes in the tire itself, in my opinion. Reason is water and gravity. Moisture will always make its way in to the foam, and this way the weight of the truck will squeeze out water plus rotation will sling it out. And water likes to run downwards when the truck is standing still..and out of the tire.

Only advantage of venting the wheel is that it's less visible.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. The best way to put a hole in the tire. I'm thinking a hole punch or something similar? If I just put a slice it will continue to rip right?

Yes, leather punch is what ya want, I just use my girlfriend's who is a horse trainer. zero issues if you go this route

PS. I would not use a regular paper hole puch, way too big IMO
