Default ridgecrest axles

My son tried to build a prerunner truck blending a ridgecrest back half with a slash front half. Long story short, I cant find anyone who sells that chassis. What other axial trucks will the will the running gear fit on? I'd like to build a sick trail truck out of the axles, links and servo. Is there a common truck these will fit with out a ton of mods? Thanks for any info.

Cut up a Slash or Yeti chassis and it should be do-able. Is the axle gear ratio the same on both trucks or very close? What are the axle ratios? Axial Ridgecrest is 13/38.

Might have to hit up e-bay, craigslist, garage sales, RC Recycler, to find the parts you need at a cheap price. I combined an SCX-10 frame with a Wraith skid, and got a wicked Wroncho. You'll have to make some modifications to the skid to get it to fit properly between the rails, and drill some extra holes on both sides of the rails to get the screws to thread into the wraith skid. This uses a Slash SC body.

Might just be cheaper to buy a Yeti kit.

Or why not just pick up a Yeti? It sounds a lot like what you're trying to do already, and Axial has done the hard part for you.
