j/k im not completely sure im sure someone here can help ypu i think its to do with the speeds and torque although i do know brushless has a different speed depending on how many cells you have running it | |

35 turns is how many times the wire is wrapped around the amature! Smaller turns are FASTER, larger turns are more torqy/slower. 35t is good for scale TLTs I Think 55t is good for comp TLTs Brushless has no brushes, so no matienance required, and offer alot more torq, and some wheelspeed. HolnesHobbies is your one stop BL Shop! Only 115-120 for a BL while brushed 55t+xrs= 70! |

I am no expert on brushless so I will let someone explain that for you but with brushed motors here goes. The number of turns refers to the number of times the wire was wound around each armature arm. The fewer the turns, the higher the rpm, or top end speed but at the cost of torque. Of course the opposite is also true the more turns, the slower the rpm but the torque is much higher. That is why you see a lot of guys racing, running 9, 10 and 15 turn motors but in crawling 45, 55 and 65 turn motors are more the norm. |
