Default TRX-4 Sport Servo upgrade question: endpoints

I am upgrading my steering servo, and I am afraid that with stock electronics, there is no endpoint adjustment. Am I going to have problems?

It will only be a problem if your servo is trying to steer more than the axles will allow. If your new servo stops short of full steering lock, there is no risk of damage unlike oversteering.

A relatively cheap and easy way to get adjustable endpoints is pick up a TQI radio off ebay. You can buy them pulled from RTR Traxxas vehicles for about $25 and you can keep using the stock receiver.

You can adjust the endpoints in the Traxxas electrics if you have a Link module in your transmitter and a smart device. You can get a module for about $30 or borrow one from an rc buddy or maybe your local hobby shop can help you.

Pretty sure the module doesn't work with the radio from the Sport, it isn't the same one as the rest of the TRX4 versions.

I'll be darn'd, I didn't realize it was just a TQ radio in those. You're right, needs a TQi for what I said. My bad.
