| C-hub angle ?
The way a c-hub is placed on the housing, does it affect the steering? I bought new chubs(strc), and for some reason they look off. Just don't look right? If i flip them 180° would that change the way they look or steering? Many thanks for your input guy's |

It does affect steering, the term is called "caster". The angle they sit should be either straight up and down or the tops tilted to the back a few degrees. You never want them tilted forward. |

I think hes talking about camber if he's rotating them 180°.

Here some pics. I think the knuckle should be more straight up N down . Like you said Duuuuuuuude, the knuckles are foward a little. So if i flip the c-hubs around it should change the angle of the knuckles ? Sent from my LGMP450 using Tapatalk |

Probably not. The original ax10 chubs had slots so that you could adjust them a little bit. I doubt that the strc version has that feature.

Could they be upside down and backwards? Like on the wrong side of the car completely?

On axial axles the c-hubs (the part on the axle) can be rotated a few degrees to fix that angle as the set screw hole is oblong. The knuckle is the part that swivels to steer. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk |

| Re: C-hub angle ? Nope, caster is what is changed by swapping C-hubs side to side. As Duuuude said, if you draw an imaginary line vertically through the knuckle pivot points it must be vertical or leaned back from bottom to top when looking at them side on. Think about how the front fork on any motorcycle angles back from bottom to top looking at it side on, that is positive caster. Last edited by Inspector86; 04-24-2019 at 05:25 PM. |
