run the xl's cause it looks like you'll be crossing pretty big gaps

i won't be able to cross some of the gaps as some are 15foot deep and 3 foot wide. i need a tyre that will not slip side ways on slick hills

Where have you been?

Moondust1950,is there a particular reason you can only take 1 set with you?

From my experience with XL's,they suck in the wet muddy stuff. Your on the beach,so I'd expect more sand than mud. They might do O.K.

I've never ran Mashers but have heard they outshine the Moabs in the wet and muddy stuff.

The reason is that i am getting dropped of while my parents are go shopping in town. and i will have some spare parts in a bag and will not be enough room for another set of tyres. The area where i crawl has no sand but is a bit wet due to the tide going out
